About InterpreterPath

What we publish

InterpreterPath organizes public information and planning questions about state court interpreter programs: program authority, status categories, languages, eligibility, applications, screening, orientation, written and oral exams, rosters, local-court onboarding, ethics, continuing education, renewal, contracts, and payment sources.

What we are not

InterpreterPath is not a court, administrative office of the courts, interpreter program, certification authority, testing vendor, language assessor, school, employer, staffing agency, or law firm. We do not certify interpreters, assess proficiency, administer exams, file applications, control rosters, place interpreters, or promise passing, work, rates, or timing.

How to use the material

Treat InterpreterPath as a secondary planning aid. Confirm program categories, eligibility, applications, status, ethics, and renewal with the responsible judiciary or interpreter program; exam details with the provider it names; and onboarding, assignments, contracts, rates, and payment with each local court or contracting entity.

Ownership and corrections

InterpreterPath owns and publishes this site. Article bylines that identify the InterpreterPath Editorial Team refer to the publisher, not a certified interpreter, lawyer, program official, language assessor, or testing expert. Send a correction, source update, or accessibility issue to support@interpreterpath.com.
